10/18/19 On October 18, 2019, the sub-advisor for the fund was changed from Cidel Asset Management Inc. to Fiera Capital Corporation. Changes in the investment strategies of the fund were made because of the sub-advisor change. Portfolio allocations and performance measurement periods prior to this date are reflective of the previous investment strategy.

Investment Objective

  • Seeks to provide a combination of current cash flow and long term capital growth primarily through investment in a diversified portfolio of Canadian equity securities.
  • Fiera Canadian Dividend Registered Fund seeks to achieve the investment objective through the investment of substantially all of its portfolio assets in non-publicly offered debt and shares of Inter-Fund class shares of Fiera Canadian Dividend Class.

Investment Strategy

  • The Manager focuses on owning high quality, dividend growing businesses trading at attractive valuations, with a significant focus on capital preservation. The strategy looks to own good businesses that are durable and run by management teams that have demonstrated an ability to operate efficiently and allocate capital, thereby building intrinsic value over time for investors. The portfolio construction process is based on a dynamic sizing of portfolio positions based on the level of conviction of the Portfolio Manager, the relative valuation of the stocks, and the overall risk assessment.
  • The Fund may invest up to 30% of the cost of its net assets in foreign securities.
